 Complete!I simply love love love my maternity leave (so far) and I've scrabbed and wiped and mopped our entire room. Smell so refreshing and nice! I got this hugeee burning desire to clean up our room at the very start of my maternity leave. But because of the stupid hemorrhoidds that's being a royal pain up in my ass, I keep delaying my room cleaning process until one day, despite the pain, I DID IT! I have totally no idea what's with this burning desire to clean up the room until I read this in the forums the very next day after I've cleaned up everything ; A nesting instinct is when pregnant women feel an uncontrollable urge to clean their house and everything around them. Females in the animal kingdom exhibit the same behaviour just before their offspring arrive. You may want to clean everything you see, or throw out anything old and grubby, or you may retreat into familiar company and the comfort of your own home. The nesting instinct can appear around the fifth month, but if you are close to being 40 weeks pregnant, it may indicate the onset of labour.So zhun loh! So I got this nesting instinct thing lah! And read the last line! "... but if you are close to being 40 weeks pregnant, it may indicate the ONSET OF LABOR" Wah! Does it mean I'm gonna go into labor soon? =X Reviie please tahan 2 weeks later after Chinese New Year thank you very much -_-! And guess what?! I've completed all my purchases for the maternity & baby checklist! Kuakuakua, so proud of myself =X Anyway went shopping for new year's clothing with my family and Laogong last sunday at TPY hub. Not that I need any CNY clothings lah, now I can only fit into maternity clothings but I'm gonna deliver soon. Might as well not buy, waste! Saw the musical crib mobile I've always wanted for Reviie! & my Laopeh pay for it! Kuakuakua =X  Tigers are significant towards our relationship because Laogong is a tiger and during the time we just get together, instead of saying "I love you" to each other, we shyly say "wo laohu ni" LOL! Mad lame I know =X And now our girl is gonna be a tigeress too ~~~~~ Love this musical mobile as the rotating speed isn't very fast, which will most likely make Reviie headache if it does =X The music are cutee! 3 different kinds of music for sleeping & playing time =D Initially wanted to buy it at Causeway Point when we first saw it coz it comes with a free Marie stroller toy, when back after I've gotten my pay and the one with free Marie toy is gone! So angry & disappointed loh! But at TPY hub's kiddy palace, there is still free Marie stroller toy! I love love love Marie lah! She's like the only cat I love because she's so "bimboticaly" chio in pink =X LOL!  Hang it on Reviie's Juicy stroller already =X When you pull the Marie, the hands will go up and down shaking, mad cute! LOL! Decided to remove the stroller's reversible pink velour padding coz very easy dirty! Later cannot wash away I heartpain ah ._. Coz I doubt can buy the padding alone o.O Weeeeeeeeeee, Callie & Fang love pink! I wonder if Reviie will like pink next time? Or find pink absolutely revolting coz she've seen too much of it since birth? LOL! Hard to say eh =X Lalalas, shall prepare to go Paragon now! Wanna checkout mothercare store for this organic liquid form powder. Read from Sherlyn's blog about talc causing overian cancer and it scares the fish out of me and I immediately dump the 2 huge bottles of powder I've gotten for Reviie =X Then when to do more research, some ppl say powder form not good as they cause breathing difficulties -_- Zzzz, so lehcheh lah. So I when to mothercare at CWP & ask about this liquid powder and they show me liquid talc -_-! Almost fainted on the spot. Lucky this supplier guy who happens to be there told me that other mothercare store carry this brand call "baby buds" or something that is the liquid form of powder and is organic blah blah blah without any talc. Reviie's first present!Reviie just recieved her first full month present today! Even before she's born! LOL! Sis-in-law got her a limited edition medallion, added an extra gold frame to make it into a pendant, of tigger!  We saw it at PohHeng on Sunday while shopping together at Causeway Point and I'm like "Goooodness! Tigger leh! Ask my Laobu to buy for Reviie when she's full month!" When in and take a closer look and the sales lady says it's 500 pieces limited edition specially made for 2010 tiger year, with the year and everything on it. Disney licensed and all, blah blah blah. Was like so heart itchy! Reviie will only be born after Chinese New Year, by the time she's full month, confirm chop chop don't have already as this is to celebrate CNY tiger year what -_- So today Sis-in-law and Bro-in-law when back PohHeng with me coz Sis-in-law wanna get a gold cow bracelet for her son, Tristan. Then when they are about to deal their thingy, they ask the sales lady to get this tigger medallion as well, but have an additional gold frame to make it into a pendant. Wahhh. Jitao is shock =X They say consider it as Reviie's full month's present, LOL! Pictures! xD  Mad cuteee, mad loveee! =X  A significant gift for Reviie as it's her birth Zodiac and year! =D    About the Zodiac ; Tiger  The medallion with extra frame made into a pendant =D  The back of the medallion with the chinese character "福" meaning good fortune and the year "2010" Was joking with Sis-in-law and Laogong saying that scarlee Reviie decided to come early before Chinese New year, she wouldn't be a tigeress anymore *CHOY! Maternity & Baby Buying List ~Maternity & Baby Buying CheckList ~ Got this checklist from Takashimaya 2 months ago and I found it friggin' useful. Thought it would be nice to share. I can say that I'm very proud of myself because even without the list, I managed and know what to buy 3/4 of what's needed =X The list is friggin' long and in the actual checklist, they actually state the quantity needed and it's usage. Very useful! =D But some of the quantity are over-stated, you all know why lah, they want earn money what, LOL! Purchases @ OldNavy!I'm grumbling about buying too many things for Reviie but still, I'm still buying! LOL! This time friggin' kua zhang coz all the things I buy, she can only wear them like 9 to 12 months later. And yes I've found the perfect excuse for myself again, NOW GOT 15% DISCOUNT LEH! =X These are what I've bought =X  French Terry Swing Hoodies for Baby, USD $10  Hooded Terry Zip Cover-Ups for Baby, USD $14.50 (Uber love this piece!)  Applique Faux-Leather Shoes for Baby, USD $7.50   Flip-Flops for Baby, USD $3.50 Each I bought both pairs in different sizes! That's because I saw one of my kiddos at school wearing it as well & I'm so in love in his pair loh! And when I saw it available online, was so happy and bought 2 pairs in different sizes =X Cheap what, LOL! (I bought 9-12m & 12-18m)   Heart-Print Tights for Baby, USD $5.00 Each Bought these cause all the tights I find in Singapore are for older girls. Have to get her long pants/tights because infant cares are always with aircon so it shall keep her legs warm xD Women's Printed Chenille Mary-Jane Slippers, USD $5 This is for myself! Kuakuakua =X It's those kind of slippers you wear at home, bought it coz it's cheap and cute and PINK! LOL =X (All prices stated are before discount) Old Navy and Gap's webbie have so many pretty clothes for baby! Especially Old Navy! Prices are considered pretty okay for me =D Ordered it online and have it sent to my vPost USA address coz they don't shipped it directly to Singapore. It's okay coz that's the price you have to pay for pretty clothes (for your daughter) =X Kuakuakua, LOL! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tomorrow is my checkup with Dr. Ang and I'm not looking forward to it as much as the initial stage whereby I dunno my baby's gender. Another reason is because I can forsee that this tigeress (Ms. Reverie Glynisebella) wouldn't even flinch her backside to turn her face and allow it to be shown on 3D ultrasound scanning. So yeah, I don't even hope for miracle that she will turn and face us coz Laogong and I strongly believes that she will be one stuborn little tiger in future =X LOL! Lalalalas, shall start my BabyPlus session soon =D Today should start lesson 7 already but I still play lesson 6 in the morning -_- Duh! Later must play the correct one! Reverie's Bedding SetI know I've been using alot of "FINALLY(S)" when it comes to buying things for Reviie but then again, MY BEDDING SET FROM US FINALLY ARRIVE TODAY! Has been waiting for it since mid-december because I choose to ship via vPost because it's much cheaper compared to other shipping companies. Then vPost have some internal failure at their side when it comes to paying for the shipping fee. So drag drag drag and drag! Until now then I get it! The bedding set looks like this! (Reviie's cot is in white (obviously more chio than the brown one on display *cough*, Just post the pictures I get from the supplier coz it's the same anyway xD)  Overview of the bedding set  The crib comforter/thick blankie  Crib bumper to prevent your baby from bumping their head =X  Diaper stacker for stacking diapers (LOL! Obviously -_-)  Toy bag (for me to throw in random rubbish)  Cute little butterfly pillow  And a set of window curtains that I'm not using. Mainly because Reviie doesn't have her own room what! What's left now to buy for her are crib mobile (the thing that have melodies & lights that hangs over her crib) and her pink velour and silk blankie. I already have 1 blankie for her already but I just can't stop myself from getting that pink velour and silk blankie from Takashimaya! It's so soft and comfortable! And yes, it's pretty pricey for a piece of blankie ($59.90) but Laogong & I love it alot =X As per my previous post, I really have to stop buying her stuff (except for diapers and other nessasary stuff which will not be that early)! Now the only thing that I must buy is thingy for my hospital bag. Maternity pads, ice pads and all. Packed Reviie's hospital bag already but not mine, CAUSE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED BUYING! Spendings on clothesI think I should find some ways to refrain myself from over spending on Reviie's clothes already! I've been telling myself not to overbuy on clothes coz she will outgrown them very quickly but I've been finding excuses like - I buy extra big sizes - She will start going infant care when she's 3 months & need 4 sets of clothes daily (I find this excuse is valid till now coz you can't expect my girl to wear the same 4 sets everyday! =X And you need time to wash and dry them right! Kuakuakua xD) So yeah, ever since I've found out that I'm short of Newborn and 0-3 months clothes (especially long sleeves) for Reviie, I've been buying them online. Branded baby/kids clothings like Carter's, BabyGap, Pumpkin Patch, Old Navy, OshKosh and etc are always easily found online in way cheaper prices compared to normal retail price!  Just got this online, Carter's 3 pieces set; hoodie, romper & long pants for only $12! Those stores outside sell one stupid Carter's dress already $22-$35 already, like this maybe $3x liao loh. I love to buy cardigans and hoodies because I find that lil kiddo look very good in them! xD  Old Navy's long sleeve rompers for night use at $9. This price consider not ex not cheap I think. Sometimes could even find Carter's 5 piece romper sets at $10-$15 bucks. 1 piece $2-3 bucks nia loh! Something like this;  So now unless I see uber chio pieces that I couldn't resist or really cheap clothings from stores outside, I will try to restrict and refrain myself from buying and tell myself that "ONLINE BUY CHEAPER" =X And now that I've completed my Newborn and 0-3 months clothing sets for Reviie, I've been trying to look at 3-6, 6-9 months clothes. BUT STOP! Nonono! That's still ages away and I can buy them later. Have to keep telling myself that ._. CONTROL CALLIE! CONTROL! Reverie's Juicy Stroller!After searching and researching on different types of strollers that's available (in pink) on the market. I've finally bought Reviie's stroller after months of waiting (& whining)! The Maclaren Ryder Juicy Couture Stroller!  Maclaren Ryder ; Juicy Couture  Comes with a reversible seat padding with Juicy Couture's logo in Pink or Brown (Meaning one side is pink another side is brown. Obviously use the pink side lah!)  The last picture on the right is with the additional footmuff that can be purchased separately. Very tempted to get it but come to think of it, 1) Singapore so friggin' hot 2) It's not in pink! 3) Local dealer didn't import it in, buy from US later shipping fee make me faint again =X So yeah! Enough! It retails for SGD $798 ~ Saw it at Takashimaya last week and have been dreaming about it every night since =X I know it's very pricey for a baby stroller but I can't help myself! I remember once I saw this Aprica's stroller in the nicest baby pink that sells for $700 plus and I kp for a few months saying that only siao lang buy that -_-! But really, now when I buy this more expensive Juicy Couture one, NO REGRETS! COZ MAD CHIO =X MUAHAHAHAHA! (Yah lah yah lah. I know many people will be like "Omg so silly. This stroller cost that much is because it's slapped with an extra label Juicy Couture." I know but I really like it alot mah T.T Manguo is right, so long as I like it & have no regrets, no worries! xD) I have to say Takashimaya's sales ladies are all very very kind and patient towards a young-auntie (I think I practically acted like one -_-) like me =X Ask them tonnes of questions and they very kindly tell me that there will be this card members' day on Christmas to end of the year which Takashimaya's member will be entitled to 10% discount storewide! So I waited for another week so that I can save $78.90! (Sounds auntie-ish but its quite an amount okay! Somemore I'm not urgent for the stroller also F3) So today after my BabyPlus session in the morning we when to Takashimaya and was glad to find out that DBS card members will be entitled to the 10% discount too! No need to be Takashimaya's member so we save another $15 bucks for the registration fee =X Sales lady again teach me how to fold and unfold the stroller. Was practically jumping and hopping when she gets a new one from the store and open it infront of me. When I asked how many of them are left in stock, she says that there's only 2 left including mine. The other one has already been reserved. Means the only one left "purchasable" is the display set! Let people kick, test, try folding and unfolding one =X The stroller includes the usual stuff of what a Maclaren stroller has and also this!  A name tag for you to put on ur stroller! Laogong mad funny still say "why give one only, so niao! $789 leh" LOL! Yes yes, I've already pasted Reviie's name sticker on it. LMAO =X Then I've decided to push this stroller home ourself. Delivery for something that can pushed easily home seems so wierd. But pushing a stroller home with nobody sitting on it seems wierder! So I insist on not cutting away the tags and refuse to remove the plastic covers for the handles. (So people know it's a new one and don't see me as a ding dong -_-) Wahsai! Alot of mummies are staring at my stroller loh =X Got 2, 3 mummies even look back when I've walked pass them. (Pardon me if I sounded yaya. I'm over excited =X) Really can't wait to push this stroller with my little honey pie in it! xD Anyway,  Merry X'mas to everybody! =D Gonna watch Alvin & the Chipmunks 2 with Laogong in 2 hours time xD Shall take a short nap now. Goodness!My gooooodness! The items I've ordered online for Reviie has arrived so quickly that I haven't even made payment yet! Friggin' fast even thou it's personalised loh! It looks so so so so so damn chio that even thou it's friggin' ex that I did not regret buying it AT ALL!  Pink romper with Reviie's First & Middle name! (Reverie Glynisebella) Friggin' chio!  Stephen Joseph's backpack with Reviie's name too! Total chio-ness & madness when I open the package and saw this bag! Reviie's name (Okay lah, the font =X) look so matching with the bag! I saw this package when I reach home at 11.30 pm and feel so so so high that I immediately blogged about it =X ROFLMAO! Enough of sharing and I shall siam to bed now. Shopping trip in M'sia!After waiting for another 2 weeks, my parents finally brought us to our neighbour's baby store in Malaysia JB today. You can't believe how much I've waited for it! Mainly because everybody is telling me that I should buy at Malaysia because it's cheaper but whenever I see nice thing in Singapore, I have to try VERY VERY hard to restrain myself from buying them! Especially it's the holiday discount season! Since I'm not bloggin' for sometime already, I find it more fun to blog about things I get for Reviie. It really makes me happy when I buy her things xD Kuakuakua (Some items are bought in Singapore. Took their pictures together =X) . . . . . . (Wait lah still uploading their pictures. File very big =X) (I think I can go arrange my wardrobe while waiting for all the pictures to be uploaded -_-) . . . . . . Okay! Here you go!  Mam's milk bottle in PINK! Chio-ness! Can't resist the sweet and hot pink so I got both. Kuakuakua. Avent's and Mam's bottle teat and Avent's bottle scrub.  Baby bibs. Very sweeeet and cute =D  Hats & more mittens.  The cutest and cheapest pair of shoes I've got for Reviie so far!  & more shoes and booties purchased from other various places =X (& various sizes, so it's not wasting! LOL!)  A baby pillow for calming effect. The pillow are made up of green bean's sprout. In Singapore mad ex! Can buy 2 in Malaysia using the same amount -_-  Stroller's fan and hanger  Cushion for stroller. Look very comfortable!  Waterproof mattress protector sheet. Put above the mattress so in case of any accidents won't kena the mattress =X  Multi-purpose diaper bag for outing =X AS WELL AS LOADS OF CLOTHES! I jitao no give face and grab everything I like! -_-! I'm still sensible in the sense that I remember babies outgrew their clothes in lightning speed so I bought bigger sizes. Kuakuakua =X Very difficult to take pictures for clothes but I shall give you an overlook of my wardrobe.  This is the amount of clothes for Reviie during my first shopping trip. And after today, her wardrobe turn into . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  LOL! I already bought 4 sets of hangers and it's not enough! Her clothes here can last her to 1 year old. I'm not kidding =X  And my neighbour kindly give me this set of newborn wear as a gift! Cute! =D Anyway don't mentioned my cabinets. Jitao is cannot put in anymore things and I think I have to get another plastic storage cabinets for her later =X I believe I have to buy 1 more set of snuggle wrap. Or I could use Tristan's (Laogong's nephew) old snuggle wrap since we are using it for a month only. My parents are paying for Reviie's baby cot, mattress and bedding set. All these save me near $500 SGD already. Kuakuakua. Ordered it just now too. Pure white baby cot with pink bedding set, CHIO! (The Pink Micuna's baby cot is out of stock everywhere. Called 3 supplier to check! T.T) As for baby stroller leh, Laogong's mum is going to pay for it and I insist on getting Combi's UrbanWalker. Have to order it fast coz 2 places are running out of Pink already! Lalalalas ~ Buying Reviie's items are not cheap but it makes me really happy and excited about her arrival! Maybe some of you don't understand how it feels like but you will know it when you are going to be a parent soon, I believe. xD Shall go arrange her items now. Friggin' messy sia -.- Toodles! Shopping for Reviie!You people just simply can't imagine how happy I am when I can finally start shopping for Reviie! Reason I couldn't start buying things earlier is because those older generation people "pan-dang" and believes that bad things will happen if you start to buy things for kids during early pregnancy. Blah blah blah and etc lah. So I wait until near 6th month of my pregnancy and this wonderful opportunity came along. My brother, Vincent, is doing his attachment in Kiddy Palace! So obviously, there is staff discounts! Imagine my JOY when I get to know this wonderful piece of news =X Kuakuakua! So last Saturday I when alone to visit my bro without Laogong because he is working OT. Sometimes never shop with him also good lah. Ever since he knew he is going to become a daddy, he started to become abit niao ji niao lan. Without him I can have a better time shopping and spending on alot of things LOL! Walk rounddddd and roundddddd Kiddy Palace and the staff there very friendly to help me with my staff (Main reason coz my brother work there =X). So they help me to put my items at the counter when my hands are full and help me with items, give me advices and etc. So I bought the following . . . This 2 piece considered pretty ex but I cant's help myself! The dress I buy 3 to 6 months cause can wear longer =X The bathrobe can be worn from 0 to 9 months thou . . . Bought at BabyWare infront of Kiddy Palace of CCK ; Lot 1! I buy one shot few items jitao join their member got 10% discount -_-  Romper in sets of 3 purchased at Babyware too =D $25.90 with 10% discount. Actually got one white romper then I request the staff to change with another set to all pink. LOL! Lucky the kind girl agree =X So happy =X  The only newborn clothes I bought! After seeing my nephew growing so quickly, it actually reminds me not to waste too much on newborn clothes. They outgrown it within months! Buy big size! =X The little bunny hat in the middle is mad cute!  Bought this pair of shoes at Babyware too. Can't resist the cute pink that's why I got it. I guess Ms. Reviie have to be at least 6 months before she can wear it =X I carried all these home alone! 4 big bags -_- Jitao is take cab coz I can't take the load. The next day when back for more with Laogong and get washable breastpads, a tigger sqeaker, more baby wipes, breastmilk storage bag (coz next time gonna put Reviie in infant care have to express milk out for her), a newborn cap and a set of waterproof bib.  Bought this romper at Yishun's North Point yesterday! MAD PINKY AND CUTE! Didn't had the price tag on so I suppose it would be very expensive coz it comes with the bib! When I check with the store lady, it's only 10 bucks! The whole set! But only left size for 6 to 9 months. Don't care lah since it's so cute and cheap so I get Laogong to pay for it =X It's going to rot in Reviie's wardrobe for an exact year before she can wear it! LOL! So here's what become of Reviie's item . . .    Kuakuakua -_- Her clothes currently share wardrobe with Laogong coz haven't get my dad to make the kiddy size wardrobe and cabinet yet! Now left all those shampoo-eyyy things to buy which I will do it when I'm about to due. Stroller and baby cot wise, I've made up my mind it will be the combi stroller I've shown in the previous post. For baby cot leh, I will be getting my neighbour to help me find. Reason is because she owns a 3 storey baby shop in Malaysia. LOL! More cheap =X Hopefully she manage to find a pink one if not I will just get the cot that can be converted into a junior bed. Fine with me coz the bedding set can be pink what! LOL Feel so happy shopping for Reviie because everything is pink! Kuakuakua xD Or I should say, Laogong and me share the love for pink so it makes us laggi more happy!
