 Reviie's first present!Reviie just recieved her first full month present today! Even before she's born! LOL! Sis-in-law got her a limited edition medallion, added an extra gold frame to make it into a pendant, of tigger!  We saw it at PohHeng on Sunday while shopping together at Causeway Point and I'm like "Goooodness! Tigger leh! Ask my Laobu to buy for Reviie when she's full month!" When in and take a closer look and the sales lady says it's 500 pieces limited edition specially made for 2010 tiger year, with the year and everything on it. Disney licensed and all, blah blah blah. Was like so heart itchy! Reviie will only be born after Chinese New Year, by the time she's full month, confirm chop chop don't have already as this is to celebrate CNY tiger year what -_- So today Sis-in-law and Bro-in-law when back PohHeng with me coz Sis-in-law wanna get a gold cow bracelet for her son, Tristan. Then when they are about to deal their thingy, they ask the sales lady to get this tigger medallion as well, but have an additional gold frame to make it into a pendant. Wahhh. Jitao is shock =X They say consider it as Reviie's full month's present, LOL! Pictures! xD  Mad cuteee, mad loveee! =X  A significant gift for Reviie as it's her birth Zodiac and year! =D    About the Zodiac ; Tiger  The medallion with extra frame made into a pendant =D  The back of the medallion with the chinese character "福" meaning good fortune and the year "2010" Was joking with Sis-in-law and Laogong saying that scarlee Reviie decided to come early before Chinese New year, she wouldn't be a tigeress anymore *CHOY! Maternity & Baby Buying List ~Maternity & Baby Buying CheckList ~ Got this checklist from Takashimaya 2 months ago and I found it friggin' useful. Thought it would be nice to share. I can say that I'm very proud of myself because even without the list, I managed and know what to buy 3/4 of what's needed =X The list is friggin' long and in the actual checklist, they actually state the quantity needed and it's usage. Very useful! =D But some of the quantity are over-stated, you all know why lah, they want earn money what, LOL! Purchases @ OldNavy!I'm grumbling about buying too many things for Reviie but still, I'm still buying! LOL! This time friggin' kua zhang coz all the things I buy, she can only wear them like 9 to 12 months later. And yes I've found the perfect excuse for myself again, NOW GOT 15% DISCOUNT LEH! =X These are what I've bought =X  French Terry Swing Hoodies for Baby, USD $10  Hooded Terry Zip Cover-Ups for Baby, USD $14.50 (Uber love this piece!)  Applique Faux-Leather Shoes for Baby, USD $7.50   Flip-Flops for Baby, USD $3.50 Each I bought both pairs in different sizes! That's because I saw one of my kiddos at school wearing it as well & I'm so in love in his pair loh! And when I saw it available online, was so happy and bought 2 pairs in different sizes =X Cheap what, LOL! (I bought 9-12m & 12-18m)   Heart-Print Tights for Baby, USD $5.00 Each Bought these cause all the tights I find in Singapore are for older girls. Have to get her long pants/tights because infant cares are always with aircon so it shall keep her legs warm xD Women's Printed Chenille Mary-Jane Slippers, USD $5 This is for myself! Kuakuakua =X It's those kind of slippers you wear at home, bought it coz it's cheap and cute and PINK! LOL =X (All prices stated are before discount) Old Navy and Gap's webbie have so many pretty clothes for baby! Especially Old Navy! Prices are considered pretty okay for me =D Ordered it online and have it sent to my vPost USA address coz they don't shipped it directly to Singapore. It's okay coz that's the price you have to pay for pretty clothes (for your daughter) =X Kuakuakua, LOL! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Tomorrow is my checkup with Dr. Ang and I'm not looking forward to it as much as the initial stage whereby I dunno my baby's gender. Another reason is because I can forsee that this tigeress (Ms. Reverie Glynisebella) wouldn't even flinch her backside to turn her face and allow it to be shown on 3D ultrasound scanning. So yeah, I don't even hope for miracle that she will turn and face us coz Laogong and I strongly believes that she will be one stuborn little tiger in future =X LOL! Lalalalas, shall start my BabyPlus session soon =D Today should start lesson 7 already but I still play lesson 6 in the morning -_- Duh! Later must play the correct one! Reverie's Bedding SetI know I've been using alot of "FINALLY(S)" when it comes to buying things for Reviie but then again, MY BEDDING SET FROM US FINALLY ARRIVE TODAY! Has been waiting for it since mid-december because I choose to ship via vPost because it's much cheaper compared to other shipping companies. Then vPost have some internal failure at their side when it comes to paying for the shipping fee. So drag drag drag and drag! Until now then I get it! The bedding set looks like this! (Reviie's cot is in white (obviously more chio than the brown one on display *cough*, Just post the pictures I get from the supplier coz it's the same anyway xD)  Overview of the bedding set  The crib comforter/thick blankie  Crib bumper to prevent your baby from bumping their head =X  Diaper stacker for stacking diapers (LOL! Obviously -_-)  Toy bag (for me to throw in random rubbish)  Cute little butterfly pillow  And a set of window curtains that I'm not using. Mainly because Reviie doesn't have her own room what! What's left now to buy for her are crib mobile (the thing that have melodies & lights that hangs over her crib) and her pink velour and silk blankie. I already have 1 blankie for her already but I just can't stop myself from getting that pink velour and silk blankie from Takashimaya! It's so soft and comfortable! And yes, it's pretty pricey for a piece of blankie ($59.90) but Laogong & I love it alot =X As per my previous post, I really have to stop buying her stuff (except for diapers and other nessasary stuff which will not be that early)! Now the only thing that I must buy is thingy for my hospital bag. Maternity pads, ice pads and all. Packed Reviie's hospital bag already but not mine, CAUSE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED BUYING! Spendings on clothesI think I should find some ways to refrain myself from over spending on Reviie's clothes already! I've been telling myself not to overbuy on clothes coz she will outgrown them very quickly but I've been finding excuses like - I buy extra big sizes - She will start going infant care when she's 3 months & need 4 sets of clothes daily (I find this excuse is valid till now coz you can't expect my girl to wear the same 4 sets everyday! =X And you need time to wash and dry them right! Kuakuakua xD) So yeah, ever since I've found out that I'm short of Newborn and 0-3 months clothes (especially long sleeves) for Reviie, I've been buying them online. Branded baby/kids clothings like Carter's, BabyGap, Pumpkin Patch, Old Navy, OshKosh and etc are always easily found online in way cheaper prices compared to normal retail price!  Just got this online, Carter's 3 pieces set; hoodie, romper & long pants for only $12! Those stores outside sell one stupid Carter's dress already $22-$35 already, like this maybe $3x liao loh. I love to buy cardigans and hoodies because I find that lil kiddo look very good in them! xD  Old Navy's long sleeve rompers for night use at $9. This price consider not ex not cheap I think. Sometimes could even find Carter's 5 piece romper sets at $10-$15 bucks. 1 piece $2-3 bucks nia loh! Something like this;  So now unless I see uber chio pieces that I couldn't resist or really cheap clothings from stores outside, I will try to restrict and refrain myself from buying and tell myself that "ONLINE BUY CHEAPER" =X And now that I've completed my Newborn and 0-3 months clothing sets for Reviie, I've been trying to look at 3-6, 6-9 months clothes. BUT STOP! Nonono! That's still ages away and I can buy them later. Have to keep telling myself that ._. CONTROL CALLIE! CONTROL! Worst working day everWarning! Whiny ranting post again! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I'm so tired! Actually feeling much much better now after I've rest for awhile (Hang on, shall start my BabyPlus session as I blog =X) . . . . . . Alright! Today's the first day of school for the year and I have 4 new kids in my class. Although I'm mentally prepared for opera-singing session throughout, it's not what I've expected. *Opera-singing ; Crying =X End up when I step into the centre, a 4 year old boy who have already joined us for 4 months was the one who singed the loudest opera -_-! My class totally don't have anyone sing opera! God! Miracle isn't it?! To think that they are not even 3! 2 of the kids came without their parent's company for the first day and they are abolutely fine. 1st boy is like an angel! Quiet and well-discipline =D The other one is . . . "abit" wild. Climb over the chairs, throwing huge plastic blocks all over the place and etc. The other 2 who came with parents are "almost" similar. The girl is so erm . . . . what the granny says "ye man" because she doesn't gives a flying fuck about what her mother and granny have to say. She just refuse to do anything that she don't feel like in the most irritating and obnoxious manner I have ever seen in a kid. I must say that's the most extreme case of tiki-ness I've seen in children so far o.O As for the boy who came with parents, very active when it comes to play and abit rough. But listens to instructions and comprehends them very well. When he's about to take his nap he realises that his aunt is gone and started singing opera. And I say "Thanraj good boy, kakak will be back after you wake up" And he just stop singing immediately and when to bed! Goodness! I can't believe that a 2 & 1/2 yr old did that loh. Understand and perform instructions so well. Overcome his emotions and all. Just do simple introduction instead of full lesson today because I was sort of short-handed. My chinese teacher when over to help the other class during their lunch time and I'm alone with my asst. teacher during lesson. Totally can't start lesson because parents calming their kids and are very distractive and kids are running around like Tarzans just got set free to roam the forest after months of captivity. (Had near 20 of 2 & 1/2 yrs olds) Was very angry because my chinese teacher when over to help the next class for lunch when they only have 3 kids. 3 kids, 2 teachers and 1 parent. -_-? I was like so zzzzzzz and the pain in my tummy make it worst. I couldn't say anything because I'm young and she's a senior -_- But I did ask my principal and she say that she might have make a mistake so she doesn't have to help the class for lunch. I can control my class no problem but today is the first day of school and children are whiny and all, that's why I needed extra help. Just run off to other place where there are more than enough teachers when I'm madly short-handed and feeling very unwell makes me fucking mad. It just makes my tummy strain worst. I've mentioned before in my previous post that my tummy always hurts due to bad strains at the sides. Today is the worst I've ever felt. -_- When for lunch with Laogong during my lunch time and the first thing Laogong say when he saw my face is "Laopo why you look so dead" -___-! So I started whining about everything to him and Laogong keep on encouraging me to tahan another 1 more month and I will start my maternity leave. To think that I've consider taking my maternity leave after Chinese new year! Looking at the current situation now I feel like starting it straight away loh -_- Anyway after lunch the new kids when back and left with my usual so things got much in control. During the kids nap time had a long chat with one of the Playgroup new kid's mummy . She asked me when I was due and turn out her gynae is also Dr. Ang! Such a co-incidence! Asked her about her labor experience and learnt that she had to induce her baby during 38 weeks due to low amiotic fluid. But inducing doesn't work so she have to go for C-section. And as usual, she was telling me how good Dr. Ang's C-sect skills was like many others in the forum and pain of the wound are greatly minimised. This lead me to think about my own delivery mode. For the past few months, even before I'm pregnant, I'm pretty convinced that I would deliver naturally with the help of epidural because of my low pain tolerance. I wanted Reviie to be a Feb baby due to silly reasons. (Laogong's family have 3 marchies -_- I don't want Reviie to be the 4th one.) Did mentioned this to Dr. Ang before about the idea of inducing and he says that inducing is very hard to say because if induction fails, I have to go for C-sect. Was tramatised by the idea of going for C-sect then but this new kid's mummy make it sounds way more unscary than usual. I do hope nature takes it course and allow Reviie to born naturally before march. She will be a full term baby on Feb 17 then. A good 11 days for her to take her time =X God bless ._. Shall go rest now. Legs are breaking, tummy still have the straining feeling T.T Toodles! Callie =D

Infant CareWorking Saturday shift today and was delighted cause the last kiddo when back at 1.25pm and we could go back 30 mins earlier! Tan tio tan tio =X Kuakuakua! Called My First Skool Infant Care again to make reservations for Reviie's placement on 17th May (Will be back to work then) after talking to my principal. Sounds very kiasu coz she's not even born yet but my principal says that it's safer coz Infant care only have limited places. AND LUCKY I CALLED! They currently have 7 kids, 2 coming in during April and according to the lady, some are withdrawing. She says that she can't promise me a placement for Reviie but will take extra note while taking in new infant. She asked for my girl's name and suddenly stopped herself when she remember I haven't even give birth. Then I go "Oh nvm I name her already." Don't dare to give her Reviie's full name if not she will die writing it down LOL! So I just leave as "Reverie Zhang" =X Considerate me *Cough. Reviie should be around 2 & a half months or near 3 months old then. Sounds very poor thing to put her at infant care when she's that young? Mmmm, I've thought about it too but I still have to continue with my job. And if I put her at home with Laogong's mum I think she more poor thing. -_- I trust experienced teachers F3 (Maybe because I worked in Infant care before =X) Equipments, learning materials, safety, cleanliness, surroundings are always a major concern when it comes to Infant care, so they are always maintained in tip-top condition. I've read from MCYS webbie that the Infant care I've chosen for Reviie recieved 2 years of license (Longest and best-est one centre can attain for exceeding expectation during licensing) so I'm more willing to put her there than Nanny or whatever. I must say that it's good that I've worked in Infant care before so I know how they work with kids and all. Can put my mind at ease with Reviie in their hands and also the experience I've gained while I'm working with infants then will surely help me alot when Reviie is born =D I got this phobia for old auntie (excluding Infant care teachers, they have cert in infant and toddlers and have professional restrictions and training =X) taking care of young children coz I tend to see them doing ridiculous supersitious rubbish to them which I find unhygienic or rather silly. Perhaps not all lah but some. (Don't wanna sterotype LOL) Don't make me start on Laogong's mum *Cough* And after I've reached 21 next Oct, I'm so gonna take my Certificate in Infant & Toddler and will most likely (with a high percentage of 200%) work in Infant care then. Childcare too tiring -_- When toddlers started running around, and you have 20 of them, try controlling them ^^ Anyway Happy New Year Everyone!
