This post will be about how my girl and boy's name came about!
Girl's name
So yeah, after being together for a year plus, Laogong and I had random chat about having children and what their names will be.
Both of us really wanted a girl and I came out with Albee Zhang Xing Yue
(Xing Yue sounds friggin' orhbit chachat but I like it alot =X)
Then Laogong and me started referring to our future daughter "beebee" whenever we are joking and etc.
Laogong then say he love the word "Xi", so we changed her chinese name to "Yue Xi" instead of "Xing Yue"
And I've realised that more and more children are having middle names nowadays so I've decided to hunt for one at babynames.com using the random renamer. The middle name "Glynis" came along and I find it matches quite well!
Imagine, Albee Glynis Zhang Yue Xi! Okay what!
Told this to a couple of friends and some claimed that it's cute but next time people will make fun of her name and called her CALBEE! (The prawn cracker brand) -_-!
So we dropped the idea of naming her Albee and decided to hunt for another name.
Then came Reverie! Wah, sound so classy like that =X
Reverie Glynis Zhang Yue Xi then! Matches too!
But one fine day, I find the name Isabella sounds very classy with the "lla" behind it. But I'm not gonna change into that because the name is around for centuries and many people are using it! I want a unique name!
I forgot how it happened but I sort of played with Glynis and Isabella and put it together.

Eh? Sounds not bad leh. But the spelling don't look very nice. Laogong says it looks wierd too. & he keep saying that it's too long!
I thought of it for about a week. Ask for friends opinion and etc.
And somehow I figured out that by replacing the "a" to "e", it looks nicer!
Glynisebella!
Same pronouciation, the word look nicer to me too.
So there goes!

It shall be her name if I ever had a daughter in the future, I thought at that point of time. And god is very kind to bless me with a daughter now =X Kuakuakua. This name was finalised at around 4 months before I even got pregnant. Didn't expect that I could use the name so soon!
To prove the originality of the name "Glynisebella", I even googled it! The result all link to my blog and twitter account =X How original! LOLOL! -_-
And I've even thought of another name if I got a second girl!

Kuakuaaa =X But no number two until Ms. Reviie is 4 or 5!
Boy's name
Ahyoh! Say until boy's name I think until I want to vomit blood -_-! I came out with trillion of girl's name already still cannot come out with a decent boy one!
I cracked my brain and decided to name my boy Jayvis.
Middle name shall be Cedric.
So in full is
Jayvis Cedric Zhang Jun Xi
When I just thought of it I couldn't helped but think I'm sucha pro "namer" =X Then there was this period of time I wanted boy more than girl coz my boy's name sounds so yandao, LOL!
But one day Laogong and I passed by Popular bookstore and saw their store manager's name is Javis -_- So abit hesitant about using Jayvis as our son's name already.
Then recently in Singapore, there is this craze about using the name Jayden for boys!
I've worked in 3 childcare centres before and each of them have at least one!

PCF Sparkletotz : 1 Jayden, 1 Cayden, 2 Brayden -_-!
YMCA : 3 Jayden(s)! MY CLASS HAVE 2 ALREADY!
From what I've heard, my friends centre have afew Jayden(s) also!
It's a nice name but I'm getting friggin' sick of it. Too many! I'm always saying that in afew years time, shout "Jayden" in the middle of Orchard road and afew hundreds will reply and turn their heads at you -_-
So yeah! No more Jayvis!
Previously while naming my newphew, I gave my bro-in-law the choice of Tristan and Jerwayne.
I like the name Jerwayne alot but Laogong and his bro think that it look madly distorted =X I agree lah!
So he chose the name Tristan for his son and I continue to seek for more boy's name for my own son.
Then I modified the name Jerwayne to J'wayne! Aisiol =X Wayne is a name I like alot but I couldn't use coz it's getting common. So yeah, J'wayne!
Thinking of letting my boy choose whether he want people to call him Jer'wayne or Jo'wayne. Laogong says Jer'wayne sounds nicer.
As for his middle name, make it Lawliet!

Then my son is J. Lawliet the famous detective, LOL! =X

Woooooooooo~ This name was finalised around my 2nd month of pregnancy when I'm still not aware of my fetus's gender. At one point of time I still have the thought of getting a boy just because of the handsome-ness of this name too! -_-

Yeah, so here is it! How I came up with my kid's name!
All by me =X Laogong just tell me whether it's nice anot xD
Now I'm waiting patiently (sometimes quite impatiently) for the arrival of my girl. The feeling of pregnancy is getting more and more real as her kicks in my tummy gets stronger and stronger.
