When to the pet shop that my dad always bring XiangBing (My Shih Tzu) for grooming. Bought some toys, treats & mini bottle for my hamham. What I can say is, althou' that shop is way smaller than Pet Lover's Center, they have more things for hammies loh!
The lady boss was like so freaking busy because there are alot of pups q-ing to be groomed. Laogong & me when back again after we ate our lunch and when back to choose what to buy again. (YES RIGHT! I'M SPENDING MONEY! -_-)
That time the lady boss was more free and we started shooting her question. She ask us where we bought our hammies and how much blah blah blah. She say should have bought from her, she always have stock and such. But I don't think she have puddings. Althou' her hammies are cute too!
She then checked Sushi & Mochi and confirm their gender.
(Eh, I read alot cases whereby shop owners couldn't determine the gender of hamsters when they are too young then alot of things happen loh. Like you wanted 2 boys and the next month you found one of your "boy" pregnant.)

Actually I suspected that also lah. Sushi's getting fatter . . . Like twice the size of Mochi. And she says that Sushi don't like being held up. Sushi does squeak a little ._. But the auntie says SUSPECT only.

OKAY LAH! I think Sushi really pregnant already ._. She wasn't THAT fat when I bought her! Unless you says that I feed her too much. -_-
So scary loh. I did super loads of research. Asking friends, shop keepers, online hamster pros and also bought this from Kinokuniya! (Look below) Quite useful information~
I get loads of different answers about seperating papa & mama hamham when the babies are young leh!

Then the most accurate answer I got is from a hamster website. Their reply to me was
Hi Callie.
There is no one absolutely correct answer which is why you
get different opinions.
It basically boils down to this:
1. If you want to guarantee no more breeding after this litter remove dad before the babies are born.
2. If you leave him in within 24 hrs of delivery the mother can get pregnant again. Dad will help out with the babies and take some strain off the mother but will usually fight with the babies when they get to around 4 weeks old but at 4-6 weeks you should be separating the babies anyway as they will often start to seriously fight after this age and will interbreed.
You can try keeping some females with mum if you wish and some males can sometimes live with dad, but in all cases you need to constantly keep and eye on them as they can start fighting at any time even after living happily for weeks or months. If you have any pairs or groups living together make sure they have enough room and one wheel per hamster should be in the cage, this helps to reduce territorial behaviour.
The Petshop auntie also mention that I should only remove if Papa is disturbing Mama. But I'm scare later I remove too late & Sushi already eaten up her babie?! -_- What the hell. Sibeh scary.
Maybe I'm getting too nervous. But whatever lah. Have to find more information what! Zzzz ~
